Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute promotional activities to expand the market for Japanese food products.
  • Conduct market research to support promotional planning and evaluate market trends.
  • Coordinate with external partners such as event organizers, local companies, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for event planning, approvals, and operational alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with food industry partners, influencers, and related stakeholders.
  • Manage and update social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
  • Handle internal administrative tasks including approvals, expense processes, and preparation of Japanese-language documents.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in Japanese cuisine and culture.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online meeting tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage schedules and adhere to internal procedures.
  • Outgoing, sociable, and positive, with strong interpersonal skills.
