Responsibilities:

  • Lead product planning and development for new and existing items
  • Create recipes and translate related materials
  • Manage SKU data, including cost calculation and cost control
  • Analyse sales performance and store inventory levels
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
  • Plan and execute inventory clearance activities
  • Prepare monthly sales data analysis for promotional planning and demand forecasting
  • Oversee purchasing operations and issue purchase orders
  • Review monthly usage of menu items to inform procurement decisions
  • Evaluate purchase quantities and make appropriate purchasing recommendations
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and ongoing coordination
  • Provide feedback to suppliers and ensure continuous improvement
  • Coordinate daily with Japan HQ
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong decision-making capabilities in purchasing and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Able to independently manage daily operations
  • Proficient in Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, SUMIF, and VLOOKUP
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive in learning new tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in F&B, retail, or consumer goods industries is an added advantage
  • Practical experience in inventory management, data analysis, purchasing, or supplier management is an added advantage
  • Exposure to product planning, demand forecasting, or purchasing operations is an added advantage
  • Ability to prepare simple internal reports using PowerPoint or Google Sheets is an added advantage
  • Management or leadership experience is an added advantage
