Job Summary
Provide Japanese-English translation and interpretation services to ensure smooth communication between patients and clinic staff, delivering exceptional service experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Japanese-English interpretation for patients during clinic visits.
  • Translate clinic materials, correspondence, forms, manuals, brochures, and patient information between Japanese and English.
  • Assist Japanese-speaking patients in communicating effectively with clinic staff on general matters.
  • Coordinate and manage communication between patients and doctors, ensuring service satisfaction.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and programme activities as requested by management.
  • Analyse patient feedback and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries and requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Japanese-English translator or interpreter.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 certification or equivalent proficiency) for liaising with Japanese-speaking patients and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex topics accurately while preserving meaning and tone.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
