Responsibilities:
- Direct Institutional Business Development: Lead the end-to-end sales process to identify, engage, and secure mandates from institutional investors across Southeast Asia.
- Senior Relationship Management: Act as the firm’s senior representative and primary point of contact for a portfolio of institutional clients, ensuring exceptional service and strategic partnership.
- Strategic Market Execution: Implement and adapt the institutional sales strategy for the region, leveraging deep local market insight to capture new opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate internally with investment, product, legal, and operations teams to structure solutions and ensure flawless mandate execution.
- Market Representation: Represent the firm as an expert at institutional conferences, industry forums, and senior-level meetings
Requirements:
- A proven institutional sales professional with a demonstrable track record of raising assets directly from institutional investors in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- 7-10+ years of direct institutional sales experience, with sophisticated knowledge of fixed income, alternatives, private credit, or real estate strategies.
- Possesses the seniority, gravitas, and independent drive to build and manage C-suite and investment committee-level relationships.
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on structuring and closing complex, high-value institutional mandates.
