Senior Sales Executive [Construction]

Job Summary:
Support sales growth in the construction and building materials sector through technical sales, account management, and new business development.
Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily sales activities, including handling enquiries, preparing and following up on quotations and tenders, and addressing customer feedback.
  • Plan and implement tactical sales action plans to drive revenue growth, improve profit margins, and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop new contacts and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
  • Provide technical sales and marketing support to customers, including product and solution recommendations.
  • Monitor market and industry trends, track competitor activities, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, trade regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage trade accounts receivable for assigned customers, ensuring timely collection and zero bad debts.
  • Achieve assigned KPIs and perform other tasks as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales or customer service, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Experience in project management and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to perform effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
