Responsibilities :

  • Overall sales activities related to bulk ships and container shipping operations
  • Development of new clients and maintenance/strengthening of relationships with existing clients
  • Arrangement of conventional ships and bulk vessels, and negotiations with shipping companies (experience preferred)
  • Building long-term trust and relationships with clients
  • Other related duties

Requirements :
[MUST]

  • Over 5 years of practical experience in the logistics industry, shipping companies, or freight forwarders
  • Proven track record in acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients
  • Highly mobile and proactive in visiting clients
  • Immediate contributor capable of delivering results quickly
  • Team-oriented and able to build long-term trust with clients
  • Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese speaking counterparts

  • Experience arranging conventional ships and negotiating with shipping companies
  • Knowledge or experience in the bulk shipping business
