Responsibilities
- Monitor industry and market trends to identify business opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects within the target segment.
- Represent the company’s products at industry seminars, exhibitions, and events.
- Establish new contacts and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers to develop business partnerships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to support business objectives and market expansion.
- Conduct market research to analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitor landscape to refine sales approaches.
- Proactively engage targeted market segments to approach potential clients and partners.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Build and maintain a realistic sales pipeline to support order generation and forecasting.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, contract closure, and project implementation.
- Prepare accurate forecasts for prospects, orders, and sales, including strategy and action plans.
- Track and report sales metrics, pipeline development, and market insights to management regularly.
- Use data‑driven analysis to evaluate sales initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimise business performance and achieve sales targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Electronics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales within a similar market segment, with proven success in securing new accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with the relevant market segment and established industry contacts is preferred.
- Strong ability to develop new accounts and generate sales leads.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across various stakeholder levels.
- Own personal vehicle required to attend site meetings.
