Sales Engineer, IT Infrastructure (Japanese Speaking)

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation, solution recommendations, and product expertise to support the Sales team.
• Analyse customer business and technical requirements to propose suitable solutions and generate sales opportunities.
• Design solutions that meet customer objectives and maximise value and satisfaction.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, including solution designs and costing.
• Stay updated on market trends to identify new technologies and enhance solution offerings.
• Collaborate closely with technology and business partners to build strong working relationships.
• Handover confirmed projects to the Engineering team for implementation.
• Retain existing customers and identify opportunities to upsell services.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customer‑facing technical role.
• Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts
• Strong business acumen and keen interest in current and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to travel overseas for customer onsite project support.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical capabilities, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders at various levels and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure solutions such as structured cabling, racks, UPS, wireless access points, networking, servers, CCTV, door access, AV systems, or server room solutions is an added advantage.
