Job Summary:
An opportunity to support regional sales growth by delivering technical solutions and building strategic partnerships across ASEAN markets.
Responsibilities:
- Support business development initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with customers and business partners across Singapore and the ASEAN region.
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing strategies to grow new and existing markets, including customer acquisition and partnership development.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective partners and solutions, and prepare structured business proposals.
- Perform market research and commercial analysis (e.g. 3C analysis) to support informed decision-making.
- Conduct customer needs analysis and recommend appropriate robotic and automation solutions.
- Support the full sales cycle, including proposal preparation, pricing, negotiation, and contract finalisation.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to support sales activities.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Provide on-site support for robotic and automation project deployment.
- Support customers with after-sales activities, including system repair and maintenance guidance.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within robotics, automation, or industrial solutions.
- Strong understanding of robotic applications, such as mobile robots, robotic arms, and automation integration.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate customer requirements into effective engineering solutions.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term business partnerships.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
- Good understanding of current market and business trends to support market entry and expansion strategies.
- Data analytics skills to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel overseas as required to support business needs.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, is preferred.
