Responsibilities:

  • Ensure stable operation of internal systems and servers.
  • Coordinate with vendors on maintenance contracts and renewals for hardware and software.
  • Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as liaison between headquarters and the local branch for operational matters.
  • Ensure system configurations comply with security guidelines during audits.
  • Analyse functional requirements and implement system changes in line with guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team leader to maintain system configuration and design standards.
  • Handle daily user support including server, network, PC, and user account queries.
  • Perform troubleshooting, recovery actions, error investigations, and propose improvement measures.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation such as runbooks, inventory lists, and parameter sheets.
  • Identify system issues and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Develop operation and maintenance procedure manuals for knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain up-to-date management documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Windows client provisioning and end-user computing support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience managing Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience administering VMware infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPN.
  • Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts. 
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow with the team.
