Responsibilities

  • Operate Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and manage security incident investigations and recovery.
  • Oversee Attack Surface Management (ASM), conduct vulnerability assessments, and provide remediation support.
  • Plan and execute security training programs and exercises for employees.
  • Manage IT assets and patch processes; collect and utilize threat intelligence for proactive security measures.
  • Operate cloud service application approval systems and provide technical support to domestic and overseas group companies.
  • Develop recurrence prevention measures following security incidents.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and HQ.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network, server, and cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with security incident response and CSIRT operations.
  • Experience in IT asset management and patch management.
  • Strong knowledge of threat intelligence collection and utilization.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and providing remediation recommendations.
  • Proven ability to plan and conduct security training and exercises.
  • Experience coordinating across departments and managing projects in large organizations.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or Registered Information Security Specialist.
  • Experience with security operations in multinational/global organizations is an added advantage.
  • Cloud and endpoint management skills (SaaS/IaaS log operations) are an added advantage.
  • Prior work experience in IT industry (SI vendors, technology vendors) is an added advantage.
  • Experience developing internal policies and guidelines is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain and persuade based on audience perspective.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong collaboration and consensus-building skills.
