Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trades in Japanese equities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise closely with Japanese portfolio managers to support daily trading activities
  • Monitor market movements and ensure efficient trade execution aligned with fund strategies
  • Support and enhance automation processes, including scripting and workflow improvements using Python
  • Perform trade checks, reconciliations, and ensure adherence to internal controls
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and operational discipline

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese speaking counterparts
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Programming capability, particularly in Python, to support automation initiatives
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or related disciplines is preferred
