Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care in accordance with nursing standards and infection control practices
  • Assist in patient assessment, monitoring, treatment, and continuity of care under supervision of a Staff Nurse
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated patient care
  • Assist with medication administration (oral, IM, SC), IV fluid changes, wound care, and related nursing procedures under supervision
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records
  • Support palliative nursing care delivery under supervision, where applicable
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and control of drugs, medical equipment, and supplies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential patient care environment
  • Provide guidance and share patient care knowledge with Patient Care Assistants
  • Uphold professional standards, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement in nursing practice

Requirements:

  • At least a NITEC in Nursing or equivalent qualification, with valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and healthcare documentation
  • Strong service‑oriented and patient‑focused mindset
  • Meticulous, accurate, and well‑organised work approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Post‑registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting is an added advantage
