ENGINEER – TECHNICAL & CONSTRUCTION (JAPANESE SPEAKING)

Job Responsibilities
 
The Engineer – T&C shall oversee project execution and scheduling and prepare reports in Japanese for HQ reporting.

  1. Lead daily construction activities across assigned trades, supervise subcontractors, assign work scoped to site staff, and maintain progress records through site reports.
  2. Liaise with design department to confirm and clarify design issues
  3. Liaise with RE/RTO to carry out inspections
  4. Ensure quality of work done conform to specifications, and address defects through systematic follow-up.
  5. Track manpower usage and progress, compile documents for handover including O&M manuals and CONQUAS/Green Mark requirements.
  6. Reporting to Japan HQ
  7. Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japan HQ
  • Min 5 years working experience in construction
  • Software knowledge: MS Office, CAD, MS Project
  • Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated
