Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively acquire new mortgage loan business by engaging individual customers with residential and commercial financing needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as property agents, brokers, and sales agents to generate referrals for mortgage opportunities.
  • Engage affluent and mass market clients through marketing campaigns, inbound mortgage enquiries, branch walk-ins, and referrals.
  • Manage the end-to-end mortgage loan application process, from client engagement and advisory to processing and customer acceptance of the loan offer.
  • Conduct offsite activities such as property show flats, networking events, and marketing campaigns to expand customer reach.
  • Provide consultative advice on mortgage solutions while cross-selling relevant banking products such as bancassurance and priority banking offerings.
  • Keep abreast of property market trends, competitor offerings, and mortgage industry developments to better position the bank’s solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking sales experience, preferably in mortgage or home loan advisory.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore real estate market and mortgage lending environment.
  • Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders such as property agents, brokers, and referral partners.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in offsite environments such as show flats or property events.
  • Willing to participate in weekend activities, networking events, and campaigns when required.
  • Knowledge of mortgage regulations, frameworks, and retail banking products is an advantage.
