• Recruit, screen, schedule, consent, and follow up with study participants
• Explain study objectives clearly to potential subjects and administer questionnaires
• Coordinate with research teams, clinicians, clinic staff, and internal departments to support study needs
• Conduct research activities including data collection, data entry, and data management
• Extract and manage data from electronic health records and research databases (e.g. REDCap)
• Maintain study documentation, investigator files, and accurate research records
• Ensure strict adherence to research protocols, ethics requirements, and regulatory guidelines (e.g. HBRA)
• Coordinate IRB submissions, study amendments, annual reports, and audit documentation
• Liaise with laboratory teams and clinical departments to support recruitment workflows
• Support research deliverables within defined timelines and targets

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Public Health, Social Science, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant research experience; no experience is required for graduates
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong focus on research timelines and deliverables
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
• Independent, well‑organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Willingness to travel between hospitals and external study sites as required
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA) is an added advantage
