About the Role:
Join our dynamic Business Banking team as an SME Lending Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in driving growth by connecting small and medium-sized enterprises with tailored financing solutions. You will be responsible for expanding our Guarantee Instalment Loan portfolio by actively engaging with established companies and building lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively acquire and develop new SME client relationships to grow the bank’s business loan portfolio
  • Promote and structure Guarantee Instalment Loan facilities for companies with sales turnover of RM3 million and above
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Ensure seamless customer experience from inquiry through to loan disbursement
  • Maintain strict compliance with all internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the team’s overall sales targets and business objectives

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or related discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience in SME banking, business development, or relationship management within financial services
  • Basic understanding of business loan products, particularly Guarantee Instalment Loans
  • Results-driven with strong networking and negotiation skills
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a competitive, target-oriented environment
