Senior Sales Executive (Engineering Plastics)

Job Summary Drive new business development and maintain existing client relationships in the plastics distribution industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities (50%) and maintain existing accounts (50%).
- Execute proactive and aggressive marketing strategies to generate new business.
- Manage daily tasks for current customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Control trading material stock inventory.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide sales support.
- Prepare quotations and liaise with customers on pricing matters.
- Follow up on payment issues with customers.
- Source suitable suppliers for trading materials and evaluate their performance.
- Verify purchase orders from customers and suppliers for trade terms, payment terms, pricing, and lead time.
- Address customer complaints and take proactive measures to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience in both commodity plastics (PP, PS, PE) and engineering plastics (ABS, SAN, ASA, PC/ABS, POM, PBT, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of plastic distribution business models and strong technical understanding.
- Established connections with business partners in the plastics industry.
- Strong, proactive personality with analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and lead a field-level team.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas and ability to coach junior team members.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel overseas as required.
