 Responsibilities:

  • Gather and define functional improvement requirements across SAP FI, PI, and SDMM modules.
  • Translate user requirements from English to Japanese for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose IT solutions beyond SAP customization, including RPA tools, and document them clearly for stakeholder understanding.
  • Manage SAP module development projects, overseeing cost, schedule, and issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings to drive project progress.
  • Analyze accounting and finance operations to assess IT tool impact and compile findings into clear reports.
  • Investigate SAP usage metrics and present findings in structured reports.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies when handling confidential information.
  • Identify and escalate operational issues to Japanese-speaking IT vendors for resolution.
  • Prepare professional documentation and deliver presentations in Japanese, including Q&A sessions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/SAP project management, consulting, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to conduct and facilitate client meetings independently.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, purchasing, and sales business processes.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Basic IT knowledge including RPA tools, collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint), and database design/extraction.
  • Skilled in documenting system architecture, business models, process flows, and data mapping using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision to drive SAP/IT projects
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
