Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager (Japanese Speaking) | Up to $6k

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development (70%) and manage existing accounts (30%) to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Prepare competitive pricing proposals for RFQ/RFI/RFP submissions.
  • Manage account portfolios to align with company sales strategies across products, trade lanes, and industry verticals
  • Ensure smooth implementation of business processes and handover of SOPs to operations teams
  • Coordinate tender management activities in line with corporate strategies
  • Deliver compliant and professional proposals within deadlines.
  • Respond to rate quotation requests from network offices for RFQ/RFI/RFP
  • Compile and review tender and bid pricing with sales and relevant business units
  • Maintain and update pricing master database
  • Follow up on tender results and ensure post-mortem analysis is shared with stakeholders
  • Monitor AR payments to ensure alignment with target overdue days

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Meticulous with strong analytical, planning, and organisational skill
