Responsibilities

  • Oversee stock control, merchandise display, and replenishment with accurate forecasting
  • Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing POS systems
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Retail Promoters
  • Prepare and maintain duty rosters to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Conduct team briefings before each shift to align goals and expectations
  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service, product knowledge, selling skills, and cashiering
  • Enhance inventory management procedures for efficiency
  • Provide professional customer service and resolve inquiries or complaints effectively
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Attend meetings and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Professional, pleasant, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Experience in F&B or retail operations is an added advantage
