Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the Japan region, setting quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and motivate a local sales team or channel partners.
  • Account & Partner Management: Build strong relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor Japan market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Operations: Manage sales pipelines, CRM, forecast reporting, and ensure compliance with company processes.
  • Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to support customer needs and execute campaigns.
  • Product Expertise: Deeply understand the product portfolio and articulate value propositions.

 
Key Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in B2B/enterprise sales, ideally within the Japan market.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and presentation skills.
  • Language: Fluency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders 
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Japan for business trips when required.
  • New Business Development: Finding and closing deals in Japan.
  • Channel Sales: Enabling and managing partners for sell-through.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge in marine service industry.
