Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation, solutions, and product knowledge to support the sales team
  • Identify customer business and technical requirements to create suitable solutions
  • Design solutions to achieve customer business outcomes and maximize satisfaction
  • Present solutions to customers and prepare technical proposals with cost estimates
  • Stay updated on market trends to address customer needs and recommend new products/services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business partners
  • Handover confirmed projects to post-sales team and ensure smooth transition
  • Retain and upsell services to existing customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering
  • Strong Cisco background; experience in VLAN and Data Center technologies is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients, stakeholders and headquarters in Japan
  • Experience in liaising with Japanese business counterparts and familiarity with Japanese business culture
  • Strong business acumen and interest in current technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong consultative skills to engage with varying levels of customer personnel
  • Knowledge in Cisco Data Center technologies, network security (Firewall, VPN), Cisco ISE, or Cisco WLAN is an added advantage
