Japanese speaking Assistant Manager [Corporate Planning/

Responsibilities :

  • Budget and forecast-related tasks: schedule management (system input, preparation of submission materials and analysis), coordination with internal departments (Accounting, Finance, Consolidation team).
  • Maintenance and revision of internal rules (e.g., Schedule of Authorities) and dissemination within the region.
  • Handling internal approval processes (drafting approval requests, coordinating tasks, reviewing the request for approval).
  • Liaison with headquarters (Corporate Planning Department) for surveys, submission requirements, and regional communication
  • Coordination with regional offices (information sharing, requesting and consolidating reports).
  • Managing and coordinating the General Manager’s schedule.
  • Organizing, scheduling, and facilitating various meetings.
  • Other internal administrative procedures and ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least 3- 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Budget management experience (understanding of management accounting, P&L, balance sheet).
  • Experience in budget planning and variance analysis.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with other departments and overseas offices.
  • Ability to explain the background of figures and prepare clear reports.
  • Logical thinking, attention to detail and accuracy, deadline management, and a strong sense of responsibility.
