Business Operations Analyst [$3.3k Basic | East]

Job Summary:

Support business operations by managing offline channels, optimizing processes, and delivering data-driven insights to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational activities across offline channels and support senior management with operational insights.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, support decision-making, and resolve issues within operational projects.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and executive stakeholders.
  • Support operations strategy execution, market research, and development of business proposals.
  • Provide data-driven sales reports to support sales strategy planning.
  • Monitor store performance, KPIs, and compile sales-related commission, incentive, and reimbursement data.
  • Assist in new store openings/closures, new product launches, and events coordination.
  • Co-manage Brand Ambassadors, including rostering consolidation and sales data updates to agencies.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and agencies.
  • Negotiate operational expenses with external vendors and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and legal teams to ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations.
  • Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for cost and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee operational permit applications, clearance, and renewals including airport passes.
  • Manage administrative matters such as invoice processing and payment coordination.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and adhere to operational standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably within FMCG retail or travel retail sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot table, Power Pivot), data management, and PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Ability to independently create reporting templates from scratch.
  • Strong adaptability and ability to handle new challenges with accuracy and agility.
  • Experience with Power BI for data presentation is an added advantage.
