Business Development Executive – Marine Fuels

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the marine fuel industry, driving business growth and expanding market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand the company’s marine fuel sales portfolio across target regions and customer segments.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients—including shipowners, charterers, and bunker traders.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through proactive relationship management and consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor bunker market trends, price movements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the supply, operations, and logistics teams to ensure reliable delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate bunker supply contracts and trading agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the company’s development and marketing of conventional and alternative fuel offerings (e.g., biofuels, methanol).

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in marine fuel sales, bunker trading, or shipping industry business development.
  • In-depth knowledge of the global bunker supply chain, pricing structures, and operational logistics.
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and pricing trends.
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally as required.
