Job Summary:
Support regional start‑up investments and market research across emerging technologies in Southeast and South Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies such as renewable energy, AI, FinTech, digital solutions, and drones.
  • Support start‑up investment activities across Southeast and South Asia.
  • Build and maintain a strong investment pipeline through online and offline start‑up research, including event participation.
  • Assist in internal due diligence for potential investments.
  • Organize and conduct site visits to start‑up operational locations.
  • Manage and engage with existing portfolio start‑ups.
  • Perform market research and industry analysis.
  • Coordinate proof‑of‑concept (PoC) projects with start‑ups.
  • Support consulting services for clients, including innovation programs and start‑up matching.
  • Provide support for Human Resource Development and Project Investment business activities.
  • Handle other tasks assigned by senior staff, managers, and directors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of market research experience in IT, FinTech, renewable energy, AI, digital technologies, drones, or other emerging tech fields.
  • Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese‑speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations or research reports.
  • Strong interest in business management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and motivated work attitude.
  • Experience in a similar industry or role is an added advantage.
