Job Summary:
Drive and grow a global non‑ferrous trading portfolio through strategic sourcing, sales development, and strong industry partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a global non-ferrous trading business, including both the purchasing and sales of products and scrap metals.
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify new suppliers and customers in the region, and develop new accounts by representing the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Manage the purchasing and sales portfolio for both yourself and your team, collaborating with logistics, operations, and risk management teams to ensure smooth and profitable operations.
  • Engage in entertainment events with suppliers and customers to foster strong relationships and adapt to industry culture.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in commodity trading, preferably in the non‑ferrous metals sector.
  • Understanding of finance, accounting, shipping processes, and trade payment methods.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin‑speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., ASEAN countries, India, Korea) to meet customers and suppliers; travel frequency varies based on business needs.
  • Stable career track record is an added advantage.
