Job Summary
Exciting opportunity for a sales professional to drive business growth in logistics and freight forwarding.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities (Hunter: Farmer ratio 80:20).
  • Prepare quotations, SOPs, and operational terms and conditions.
  • Handle RFQs, tender bids, and review pricing rates.
  • Secure new customers and grow revenue streams from existing accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets for gross profit and revenue contribution.
  • Conduct and report on sales leads as per management requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of customer details, visits, and progress.
  • Identify and pursue potential customers to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Negotiate pricing within company guidelines to maximise profit margins.
  • Follow up on customer communications promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams for quotation execution.
  • Promote company services and coordinate sales efforts across departments.
  • Analyse market information and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Provide weekly sales progress reports to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding (required for Senior Executive level and above).
  • Strong ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to present services clearly to clients.
  • Ability to understand customer expectations and deliver value propositions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for client proposals.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Skilled in sales pitching and negotiation for new business development.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
