Assistant Sales Manager (Japanese Speaking)

Job Description:

  • Liaise and communicate with Japanese-speaking clients/ contractors.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, tender documents and contracts based on project requirements.
  • Monitor upcoming and ongoing projects for tendering.
  • Attend to sales enquiries and build long-term partnerships with existing clients/ contractors.
  • Follow up closely on project progress and completion to ensure compliance with specified timelines, costs, quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Technical and Operation departments to develop technical solutions and strategies for client applications.
  • Interact with stakeholders at all level to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and with optimal utilization of necessary resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably possess a Civil Engineering educational background (e.g. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Japanese is essential, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing, to liaise with Japanese speaking clients.
  • Min. 8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within Construction industry.
  • Willing to travel to various project sites as required.
  • Able to commit to long working hours when necessary.
